Task 'a.......@domain.com - Receiving' reported error (0x800CCC92) : 'Your e-mail server rejected your login. Verify your user name and password in your account properties. Under Tools, click E-mail accounts.  The server responded: -ERR Authentication failed'

Solved 

1. Check the settings. 
2. Go to a different Windows account and see if you can make a connection there in the same e-mail program.
3. Go to a different computer and see if you can make a connection there in the same e-mail program.

If all three fail, contact your email provider.
